A very good friend of my father was shot down and killed flying an A-37 out of Bien Hoa with the 604SOS in mid-December 1969. His name was Lt. Col Bob Spillers. My Dad and him went back a long ways (I think to 336th Ftr Day Sqdrn at Kadena 1955-1956) My Dad (Capt. John W. Ross) was attached to 20th TASS in DaNang flying O-2A FAC/Recon missions when Bob was killed.
I was just wondering if any A-37 members remembered Bob.
